All Saints’ Church in Brantingham is 12th century in origin, restored by the Victorians in the late 19th century. It is a gorgeous church in a stunning location, situated at the foot of Brantingham Dale.
All Saints’ Brantingham is usually open daily for visitors and this includes an outside toilet, tea and coffee making facilities as well as benches outside. We are a popular destination for walkers and cyclists as the church is on the Wolds Way.
We meet for our traditional Sunday morning service at 9:15am. All worship is from the Book of Common Prayer, with Holy Communion on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, and Lay led Morning Prayer on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. Refreshments are served after each service, with many members of the congregation staying to talk and enjoy fellowship within the church and its setting.
Our Christmas services include a very popular Nine Lessons and Carols by Candlelight, a Crib Service, and carol singing at the Triton pub. Harvest is celebrated with an evening service led by a guest preacher, followed by a Harvest Supper. We also have introduced an annual Memorial Service.
At Easter we offer a family Easter Egg Hunt, and in the summer we host music evenings where different peformers lift the roof!
