All Saints’, Brough is a lively open friendly church.
Sunday Morning Worship (09:30) is informal based on Common Worship with contemporary music and a communion service twice a month.
Teaching and worship is lively and often interactive, centred on the church year and topical themes relating to the gospel message. The service is attended by people of all ages.
We have developed our church site to be a more community friendly building to accommodate our growing, seven days a week ministry. We now have underfloor heating, new lighting, redecrated and have built a new Narthex [entrance room]. The main doors have been repaired and now used with a new brick pathway replacing the old gravel.
Mid-week Holy Communion (Traditional said Common Worship), every Thursday at 9.30am is an informal ‘said’ service followed by coffee and a chat. This has become a much-loved and growing meeting place. Once a month this is followed by the “Knit and Natter” club with members from all the Churches, providing a chance to learn new skills and have fellowship over a light lunch. More recently we have started running a monthly 'Coffee Morning' that follows our service, this provides free coffee and cake and all donations on the day are given to a nominated charity.
